How is Savoir different to any other lingerie seller?

We source our lingerie & swimwear from Europe and around the world and are constantly searching, researching and sampling different products and styles to help deal with all the different issues that ladies encounter when trying to find the ideal bra or swimsuit.

Didn't you used to be on Colombo Street?

Where can I park when I visit Savoir?

There is plenty of 1 hour free parking on St Albans Street as well as Papanui Road (if you are lucky enough to grab a spot there), plus there is parking in Merivale Mall Car Park across the road.

What hours are you open?

We are open Monday - Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm, Thursday: 9:30am - 7:00pm and Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm. 

Do I need to make an appointment?

No you don't.  You may just pop in any time during our opening hours and our trained fitters will be happy to see you.

Is the person fitting me trained?

Yes, we are all fully trained and have a vast experience of all the different body shapes and sizes.  At Savoir Lingerie & Swimwear we are all trained to fit without using tape measures.  All the team have extensive product knowledge and are able to recognise styles that will suit your particular shape or solve any fit issues.  A large part of our on-going training involves knowing and understanding the new styles that come in and who they will suit. Aside from all the technical training that is required, the ladies that make up the Savoir team have a shared passion for seeing women be transformed simply by discovering the undergarments that help them to look and feel amazing.

Why don't you use tape measures?

The out of date myth is that the best way to fit a bra is with a tape measure.  In reality, tape measures only provide a very rough guide, no accurate consistency when fitting, plus they prove an awkward and unpleasant experience for the customer.  The best and least intrusive way to fit is without tape measures, and our fitters have the experience, training and product knowledge to do this.

Are your products on display?

Yes, we have the latest styles of lingerie & swimwear hung in the shop along with a large knicker draw that you are always welcome to rifle through!  Because we hold so many different styles and different sizes we are not able to have all our product on display however, that is where the expertise of our fitters comes in, as once they have sized you, you will be given all the options in your size.

Do you do lay-by?

Yes we most certainly do. :Please also enquire about our new Pay-As-You-Wear option.

I don't live in Christchurch, can I buy on-line?

At present we do not have an on-line shopping cart facility as fit is such a vital part of the buying process, however you only need to come in once for us to know what size you are and what styles suit you and from there we are happy to send you items by mail on appro.  If you have not had the opportunity to come into Savoir, but know the size that you are after, then we are also quite happy to send items out to you.
